The primary inspiration for my artwork is natural and urban landscapes. By creating spontaneous compositions, I experience and express movement, exploration and discovery. The circle, which is one of the most common elements found in nature, is a primary focus in my paintings.

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, Stacey Schultz moved to Denver, Colorado in 2003 after spending a decade in northern California (San Francisco/Lake Tahoe). Schultz’s work as an artist is greatly influenced by her practice of design; she has worked as a graphic designer and art director for over 20 years.
